This music has always been a favorite, and now it is even more so. It reminds me of why I started dancing in the first place - to go to those special places you only find when you hear a certain kind of music."

Scott Killian says: "What I discovered while composing this CD is that as an improvisational pianist, I think in orchestral ways, and pieces that may work for solo piano are really sketches for music conceived (in my mind) for an orchestra.

I cannot tell you how rewarding it has been to finally hear these pieces in arrangements that allow the colors and nuances of strings and brass and woodwinds to shine through.
